Steam Interactive Company Profile

Steam Interactive was formed in July, 2006. The philosophy was simple: Do something enjoyable that would also help our customers achieve a higher level of success. From there it was a natural progression.

Ken Davenport, our Creative Director and Luke Hansey, our Programmer, have been building websites together for over nine years. What else could they do but start a website development company?

The Steam Team acquired their first customer before the business was even official. While opening a business bank account the bank employee hired them to build a website for a new restaurant that we was going to open. Not a bad first day.

In January 2007, at the request of a customer, they began creating brochures, business cards and other print graphic design work. It soon became apparent that this new direction would require some help.

In February 2007, Sandy Swartos was asked to join the team to handle the print graphic design. Sandy's background in sales, marketing and graphic design made her the perfect person to round out the team. Fortunately she agreed and Steam can now offer great websites plus the all the print materials needed to in order to keep their customers' marketing concepts consistent. All three get immense satisfaction from watching their customers and the local business community grow and prosper.

To keep up with the demand in September 2008 Steam proudly welcomed Regan Robertson to the group. Regan's background is in graphic design and is currently transitioning her skills over to web design.
